MARSHALL — A mailbox was damaged in a damage to property incident reported at 8:46 a.m. Sunday on the 3000 block of Lyon County Road 5, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

GHENT — A vehicle was broken into in an incident reported at 10:25 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of Chapman Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD — A Sacred Heart woman, 19, was cited for speeding in an incident reported at 6:13 p.m. Friday on the intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and Lyon County Road 24, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — No report was in on an assault incident reported at 6:46 p.m. Friday on the 600 block of West Main Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — A Motley man, 32, was cited for speeding in an incident reported at 7:38 p.m. Friday on the intersection of 310th Avenue and Lyon County Road 6, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

BALATON — A Brookings, S.D. man, 19, was cited for speeding in an incident reported at 5:26 p.m. Saturday on the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and Lyon County Road 7, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD — A garage door was damaged in a hit-and-run incident reported at 6:03 p.m. Saturday in Cottonwood, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD — A verbal argument was reported at 6:39 p.m. Saturday on the 100 block of Lindsay Drive, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD — A report is being sent to the county attorney for consideration of driving after cancellation charges on a Cottonwood man, 51, in an incident reported at 9:46 p.m. Saturday on the 100 block of South Barstad Road, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL — A Brookings, S.D. woman, 23, was cited for speeding in an incident reported at 11:11 a.m. Sunday on the intersection of East Main Street and North Highway 23, Marshall Police said.
