MARSHALL — An intoxicated woman was released to a responsible person in an incident reported at 11:01 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Lyon Street and Jewett Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — An adult male was arrested for 4th degree DWI, refusal to take a chemical test, obstructing legal process, and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle at 1:05 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Madrid Street and Channel Parkway, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A theft reported at 12:56 a.m. Saturday on the 1300 block of Birch Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A report is not complete on a hit-and-run incident reported at 2:01 p.m. Friday on the 1500 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — An adult female was arrested in an incident reported at 1:46 p.m. Friday on the 100 block of East Redwood Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A juvenile female was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana in an incident reported at 12:16 p.m. Friday on Tiger Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL — A cat was taken to the animal impound in an animal complaint incident reported at 11:26 a.m. Friday on the 600 block of Kathryn Avenue, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

MAYNARD — A Marshall man was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 9:16 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and 70th Street, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A 2014 Ford pickup driven by a juvenile male, 16, stopped at the intersection of 70th Street and Highway 23, and then proceeded into the intersection, where it was struck by a 2006 Pontiac driven by Larry Lamote, 54, of Marshall, the State Patrol said. Lamote was taken to the Granite Falls hospital and later transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center, the State Patrol said. A State Patrol report said the juvenile driver’s name will not be released due to pending charges. The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department, Clara City Fire and Ambulance, and Maynard Police all responded at the scene.
