MARSHALL — The local Democratic-Farmer-Labor chapter on Wednesday celebrated the opening of its new campaign headquarters in Marshall at 1301 E. College Drive.

Ben Walker, Lyon County DFL chair, said the DFL campaign headquarters will be used as a “staging ground for regional parades, events, and canvassing. When candidates want to come to our region of the state, they now have an official place to meet and plan. They can store their supplies and signs in the office.” In addition, “the office will also be open to the public so folks can come in and ask questions and learn more about candidates or the DFL platform in general,” he said.

Walker said regular hours for the office have yet to be determined.
