In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday this week, Park Side Elementary students wore hats Monday. First graders Carson Doose, Sofia Amaya, Amber Castor and Aliya MezaIn show off the hats they made in Tiffany Lecy’s class. Lecy told her students, “I’m a teacher of a lot of things. These happen to be some of them!” Theodor Seuss Geisel, the author of “The Cat in the Hat” and many other books, was born March 2, 1904, in Springfield, Mass.
