A special day at Grace Life

Grace Life Church had its groundbreaking ceremony for its East Side campus expansion on Wednesday evening. Bouncy houses and a picnic meal were available to families prior to the ceremony. Kaden Hoefs tossed the first shovel-full of dirt in the air after the Rev. Doug Wing said a few words and led a prayer, followed by uplifting comments from Russ Ogelsby and other speakers. “I’m really excited about this project,” Ogelsby said. “The Holy Spirit has prompted us to step out in faith. God wants us to grow in faith.” Wing noted that the expansion includes an entryway, bathrooms, a coffee bar and a worship center, which will be attached to the current building on the north side. “We’re adding about 15,000 square feet,” Wing said.
