O’Dwyer is new partner at Runchey, Louwagie and Wellman

Runchey, Louwagie & Wellman, PLLP announces that Kyle O’Dwyer has been made a partner at Runchey, Louwagie & Wellman, PLLP as of the new year. O’Dwyer practices in the areas of criminal defense, civil litigation, bankruptcy, and guardianships, among other areas of the law. He is a member of the Lincoln-Lyon County Bar Association and currently serves as the vice president of the Ninth District of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He also regularly attends meetings of the Lyon County Children’s Justice Initiative, which focuses on best practices in child protection cases.

O’Dwyer is originally from Colorado, and he moved to Minnesota to attend law school. His wife, Amy, is a Minnesota native and they just had their fourth child. Outside of the work he has done at the firm, O’Dwyer has been involved with the United Way of Southwest Minnesota, the Marshall Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group and Special Olympics, where he has served as a basketball coach for the unified partners’ team. In March 2018, O’Dwyer will begin his term on the YMCA board of directors.
