Carmody recognized for outstanding service

Southwest West Central Cooperatives announces that Bobbie Carmody received an Outstanding Service Award at the 2017 Minnesota Service Cooperatives Annual Board Conference held in July.

Carmody brings an extensive background of service and experience to SWWC, said a news release. She started her career with the agency in 1990, working with the Center for Educational Development. She was soon promoted to provide administrative support for the deputy executive director and Human Resources, in 1996 she became the executive assistant and office manager. A couple of years later, she became the secretary to the SWWC Board, a role she continues in today. Along the way, she served as the human resource generalist and supported the staff of AESA. Today, she continues to support the Division of Risk Management.

The SWWC Board did not hesitate to select Carmody when her name was put forth for consideration. Board Chair Maydra Maas said, “Board members feel a personal ownership and valued membership in the magnificent team of SWWC due to the incredible work ethic and genuine loyalty Bobbie exhibits to our entire organization. Mere words would not adequately express the competent, caring, thoughtful, humor and personal professionalism that is evident in every interaction with Bobbie.”
