DeGraff, Rieppel to perform faculty recital

A faculty recital featuring SMSU adjunct instructor Dr. Anna DeGraff, mezzo-soprano, and Dr. Daniel Rieppel, piano, is planned for Monday.

The recital, titled “Music on Music,” will begin at 7:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, located at 100 Church St. in Marshall. Music of American composers writing on the topic of their art will be featured.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Tabaka to present ‘Inside & Out: Clothing of the Lutheran Reformation’

SMSU Theater Professor Sheila Tabaka will give a presentation titled “Inside and Out: Clothing of the Lutheran Reformation” on Tuesday.

Tabaka is an award-winning costumer within the theater program. She will present from noon-1:15 p.m. in the William Whipple Gallery at SMSU, and again from 6:30-7:45 p.m. at the Marshall-Lyon Country Library.

The presentations are free and open to the public.
